John Lennon's original handwritten lyrics for All You Need Is Love are among unique rock memorabilia which could fetch £1.2m under the hammer this month.
An original painting done at art school ( estimate £ 80 -100,000), the Vox organ used at the legendary 1965 Shea Stadium concert, an embroidered bedspread from the John and Yoko Montreal "bed-in" (£30-50,000), a table from the home Lennon shared with first wife Cynthia, and a military bandstyle jacket said to have inspired the Sgt Pepper look (£150,000) are among a dozen lots which span Lennon's career from Liverpool student days to his final solo album.
