Получил вот благодарственное письмо: "Impressive client! I checked out the functionality and was rather amazed at the cleanliness of the API and the functionality included. I was particularly impressed with the adapter approach that you used to support OData 1-4 and the full support of Silverlight 5 (which is now missing in the MS clients, making migration quite tough!). Truly a great job on this client. Based on looking at it over the weekend that library will likely be my first choice going forward. It seems to handle all but one test case I had flawlessly and with much cleaner code than the previous MS based clients. I was particularly impressed at the ease of use – no code generation is required thanks to your rather clean separation of concerns. The Wiki is incredibly thorough and covered all of the major functionality very nicely."
Профессиональная драма заключается в том, что тем, что я делаю за деньги, я, как правило, не могу похвалиться так же, как здесь хвалит мой бесплатный продукт далекий американский пользователь. Simple.OData.Client я писал в общей сложности три года - тратя когда по часу в неделю, когда по десять. Но меня ничто не ограничивало во времени, и в итоге получилась библиотека очень специальная по своему назначению, но, как пишут пользователи, лучшая в этой области, гораздо удобнее майкрософтовских. А то, что я делаю днем, оплачивается по часам, и доводится лишь до пригодного к сдаче состояния, не больше и не меньше.
Большинство программистов поймет, о чем я говорю. Но на бесплатных проектах удается отвести душу.
